在新冠後遺症中,其中一種常見病症為關節痛。患者會因體質不同而出現不同症狀,例如常有活動後痛楚增加、天陰落雨時發作;但亦有反之活動後及遇冷時痛楚減輕。註冊中醫師林家揚在「醫藝同行 Eli Care」facebook專頁發文,解釋關節痛病症:周身一個或多個關節疼痛;因氣血經脈受疫邪所損、久病令氣血運行不暢,經絡氣血阻滯下導致關節疼痛。林醫師提出可嘗試的調護方法,幫助緩解痛楚。

關節痛分虛、實體質
林醫師將關節痛患者分成兩大類,再詳細列出6種體質,包括「實證」有5種:風、寒、濕、熱、瘀;證候為痛感明顯及強烈,如刺痛、腫脹;遇熱時加劇。
「虛證」則有2種:氣血兩虛、肝腎虧虛;證候為關節酸痛無力、勞累及遇冷後加劇。

舒緩痛症方法
1. 生薑療法(適合非「熱型」疼痛)
- 可焗水、外敷、外洗或浸足
2. 外洗藥方
- 作用:疏經絡、行氣活血
- 注意:葯湯不可内服
3. 呼吸放鬆法
- 意識引導全身放鬆,有調和氣血、疏通經絡效果。

忌食糯米
林醫師指出,糯米性質黏滯,會影響脾土及腎臟,脾胃功能弱者吃糯米會加重身體水濕及骨節疼痛。同時,經絡不通、氣血阻滯、濕困肢體時,吃糯米令氣血及濕氣凝聚更甚,不得通暢時則會加劇疼痛。而無痛人士進食糯米,可參考以下方式更好吸收:
建議食法:
- 磨粉煮稀粥,較易消化。
- 細嚼慢嚥,宜熱吃。
- 配合麥芽煲水,助消化。
